We are particular about design, materials, and functionality, and aim to create products that are different from others. By using groovers in our own unique techniques, we express the beauty of the finish and our desire for our products to be used for a long time. Naotake Tokunaga
Born in Nagano in 1977
He started working at a construction company in 1996. That's when he met Mr. Harayama.
Since 2000, he has worked as a furniture carpenter and gained experience as a technician in the world of 0.1 mm precision.
At the same time, he started leather crafting.
Since 2005, he has worked at a leather workshop for a certain apparel manufacturer, producing a variety of unique products using his own sewing methods and managing the workshop.
2017: Established the handmade leather studio Groover Leather
Without challenges, there is no progress. Without progress, there is no joy. As a craftsman, I want to create better products.
We created Groover Leather in order to create products that would please our customers.
We create products with all our heart to meet the needs of our customers.

Junichi Harayama
Born in Nagano in 1976
He started working at a construction company in 1997. That's when he met Mr. Tokunaga.
I met various craftsmen and learned about the amazing things that go into making things.
Since 2006, he has worked at a leather workshop for a certain apparel manufacturer, making a variety of unique products and supporting the workshop.
In 2017, he founded the handmade leather studio Groover Leather with Tokunaga.
