A workshop at the request of a labor union in Nagano Prefecture!

We are active as the "Shinshu Ethical Project" and have finally received a request for a workshop from the prefecture!

This happened a while ago, but the Nagano Prefecture Labor Union asked us to help provide a place for prefectural employees to experience and learn about ethics.

Of course, I immediately replied, "Thank you very much."
After that, prefectural officials recruited people to participate in the experience, and the day arrived.

The content was an hour-long lecture on ethics by an expert.
After that, we all decided to make a deerskin book cover together.
To make the Shinshu Ethical Project more familiar to the participants, we also provided canned venison curry and let them experience eating a life, including the meat and skin, without leaving anything behind.

We have been working on this for a year now, so it was a valuable experience to be able to listen carefully to the lectures as a part of spreading the word (^○^)
If you search for "ethical consumption," the word "logical" comes up.
So for me, it's about doing something good for the environment!
To sum it up roughly, that's what happened, and since I never had the chance to listen to it in detail, it was a very appreciated experience.

We explained the Shinshu Ethical Project, how Shinshu deer leather is made, and how this project can only continue if the people involved have a strong relationship as an industry.
We are truly grateful to have been given the opportunity to share our activities with everyone in the prefecture.

Workshop Start

Now comes the fun part: the deerskin book cover workshop.
You can choose the color on the spot on a first-come, first-served basis, and we'll also give you a can of curry to start the event!

Everyone was trying hand sewing for the first time, so unlike the usual workshops we hold in cafes, we naturally gave them a thorough explanation!

Huh? What's going on?
It is often called (^○^)

Some people had to finish a little early due to work, but everyone finished beautifully in the end!
Thank you very much to Mr. Goto (bottom center) for organizing this event and to everyone who participated.

We hope to make ethical practices more accessible by using the leather of culled deer and raising awareness of our activities among many people.
I think it's not about being conscious of holding back from the things you like, but rather about continuing to do things that are close to you and that you can do without any strain.
Our goal is to continue the Shinshu Ethical Project through the company, so we will continue to work hard to create and sell better products.

Thank you for reading this article to the end.

Next up we have been asked to hold a workshop for the Ueda City Labor Union, so we will do our best there as well!!!
