A shoulder bag that has been carefully designed to take advantage of the characteristics of deerskin!
Although it hasn't been that long since I started using Shinshu deer leather, I have been using it ever since my previous job before starting the company. Its softness has a charm that can only be achieved with this material, and Shinshu deer leather is a leather that takes into consideration its story, environmental issues, SDGs, etc.
Since the deer are wild, there are scratches on them, so we have to be careful when cutting them.

As for Shinshu deer leather , we have written about it here , but this is an activity to help save the lives of deer that were exterminated in Nagano City, and we are grateful to use the scars as proof that the deer was alive. For this reason, we have an obligation to communicate this clearly, and we want to make it into a better product.

If the scratch is large but shallow, use it, but if the scratch is deep, avoid using it.
However, if we avoid damaging the leather too much, it will go unused, and will end up being thrown away and not utilized, which would be counterproductive.

If you avoid the deer just because of this, you will be doing them a disservice.
Although the silver side (the outer skin) of deer is thin, the fibers themselves are a tightly intertwined mass, so you can see its strength when it is made into a leather cord.
Cowhide will break if it is not tied together with four pieces of mesh, but the difference in durability of deerskin is remarkable.
For that reason, I think it's okay if there are some scratches, and I would actually like people to enjoy it.
A drawstring shoulder bag that takes advantage of its softness

The first thing I'd like to introduce is the drawstring shoulder bag shown in the photo above!
The product in the photo is a high-standard product of Gruber Leather. As described above, the leather is small compared to cowhide, so it is difficult to cut it for large products such as bags.
This bag shape is a redesign of a shape I made about 10 years ago that I have a lot of affection for, but this time I use it when I ride my motorcycle.
The design is fundamentally different from our previous designs, but while our previous design was inspired by American vintage leather jackets, this time we are actually thinking of something more British.

The side pockets have space for your smartphone or car keys, so you can always quickly take out what you need.

You can remove it from the top

The bag spreads quite a bit even when the main zipper is open, so you might not even need to open the top. lol We've also taken the time and effort to carefully pipe the gussets together, and added some nice touches like brass studs.

There is also a small detail that is typical of Groover Leather. When you hook the main zipper pull onto the flap...

What can I say!?
The zipper won't open!?
This is a clever idea for crime prevention! Or is it just for fun? (^○^)
Please feel free to contact us for any customization!
One of the best things about Groover Leather is that it is made to order!
I think it's natural that there will be people who say, "I might as well buy it if I'm going to buy it anyway!" and people who say, "No, this is good enough!"
I've also heard many people say, "I don't like this part of my wallet, but I keep using it."
Please feel free to ask any questions, no matter how trivial!
*However, please understand that it may take some time.
The bag we are introducing this time is also finished like this.

A customer who ordered with the attitude of "I want to go all out!"
The client asked for spider studs to be added somewhere on the design, so I went with an all black tarantula version so as not to clash with the red and black of the design.
I think it has tightened up nicely👍
