Workshop Ueda Branch Labor Union
Following on from our previous article, we held a workshop with the labor union.
This time, the workshop will be held at Ueda Joint Government Building!
As in the last event in Nagano, we spoke about the "Shinshu Ethical Project" and held a workshop.

We hope that our activities will be known by as many people as possible, and that with the support of prefectures and local governments, the industry will grow and gibier-related and ethical consumption will spread. First of all, we hope that people will come and experience it with all their senses, which will then lead to action.
The theme of this workshop is the things that prefectural officials wear around their necks.
A pass case? A pass case with a neck strap?

I forgot to take a photo of the finished product, so here are the pass cases that the three young people are wearing around their necks.
The outer leather is deerskin, and the paracord around the neck is also included in the set.
This pass case was created based on a suggestion from a staff member at the Ueda branch!
This is a piece that took a lot of preparation!

The back of the pass case is made of cowhide leather, and you can have it engraved to make it your own original piece!
Actually, this is the most exciting part lol. From kids to adults, this is the part that takes the most time.

Everyone seemed to be curious about who would put what in, and some people had a hard time hitting it 😁

However, the people who had been excitedly engraving the items earlier were now serious about hand sewing!!
An unusual space where the only sound you can hear is the air conditioner.

This time, there were 15 of us in the workshop, so we were called here and there and both Harayama and I were very busy.

In the end, everyone was very satisfied!
We are also happy to imagine these people proudly wearing them around their necks! Thank you very much to everyone who participated.
I hope you'll try again next year.
