Shinshu deer leather
Shinshu deer leather is leather processed in Nagano City, tanned in Iida City, and finished in Groover Leather's Chikuma City, making it a completely locally produced, locally consumed product.
It is so flexible, light and durable that it is also called "soft leather." Its softness is so gentle that it makes you feel comfortable even though it is made of soft leather.
Please understand that there may be some scratches on the surface. We appreciate the blessings of the earth and use them to make our products.
Apricot-dyed leather
This gentle expression was created at the Sarashina Hanaori Studio in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, using dye extracted from apricot trees , apricot seeds placed inside the fabric to create a floral pattern , and the tie-dyeing process evokes the image of blooming flowers.
Chikuma City is the second largest producer of apricots in the country, and the apricots are a specialty of the city, with the apricots being dyed and manufactured in the city.
*Each apricot tie-dye item has a different pattern and color, so the photo is for reference only.
First Leather
The leather is made from wild deer that were exterminated within Nagano Prefecture, and is tanned and pre-treated in Iida before being dyed with genuine indigo at the Hamazome Studio in Matsumoto City.
"Aihaji Leather" was jointly developed by the three companies: Hamazome Studio, which has a long history dating back to the 44th year of the Meiji era, Mersen Co., Ltd. in Iida City, and Gruber Leather Co., Ltd.
*Each tie-dye pattern is different, and the color intensity and texture may change depending on the season and conditions of dyeing.
Italian Leather
This is full vegetable tanned shrink leather made with the Vacchetta method in Tuscany, Italy, which is dyed and core-threaded. The leather is tightly packed with fibers on the double shoulder, and is characterized by its suppleness and moist feel and texture. The luxury that is unique to Italian leather and the way it ages beautifully give a sense of the history of the product, which was made with great care and attention to detail.
(Shrink is mainly used for the exterior of wallets, while smooth is used for the interior.)
Waxed Nubuck <br>This leather is tanned in Himeji, and the oil-rich leather is processed with paraffin-based wax to give it a unique feel and a vintage-like texture where the color has faded in the bent parts, resulting in a leather that is well worth the time it takes to develop with use.
*If the item is "0 in stock", it will be shipped in approximately 2 weeks.
