This wallet was the catalyst for the launch of the Shinshu Ethical Project, which was established in March 2022 with the goal of economically developing and sustaining the use of deer leather from deer culled in Nagano Prefecture.
The shape is similar to the deerskin version of the previously released GMS series , and although there have been changes to the manufacturing method and materials, the fundamental ease of use has remained the same.

It is designed to hold 14 cards, with 12 card compartments underneath the coin purse and 2 card compartments in the most convenient location.
In addition, the shape of the bills makes them less likely to curl, which is a disadvantage of folding them in thirds, so you are less likely to have to straighten them out when paying.

About Leather
Shinshu deer leather is leather that is processed in Nagano City, tanned in Iida City, and finished in Groover Leather's Chikuma City, making it a completely locally produced leather.
Deerskin is so supple, light and durable that it is also known as the cashmere of leather. Its moist, clingy softness feels good to the touch and gives you a comfortable feeling that you wouldn't expect from leather.
Please understand that since this leather is grown in the natural environment of Nagano, it may have scratches from branches, etc. However, we are grateful for the blessings of the earth and process them into products.

The cowhide used for the interior is tanned in Himeji, and the leather that has been shrunk (kneaded) is soft and goes well with deerskin. Deerskin is a by-product of local production, while cowhide is a by-product of meat.
