About Leather
This gentle expression was created by the Sarashina Hanaori Studio in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, where dye was extracted from apricot trees, and apricot seeds were placed inside the fabric to create a floral pattern.
Chikuma City is the second largest producer of apricots in Japan, and is a specialty of the city. It is only natural that the city is also involved in the Shinshu Ethical Project, where apricots are dyed . They are also called "Kaaa" .
It is moderately flexible and light, and has a soft, moist feel that makes you feel comfortable, even though it is made of leather. Since it is made of leather grown in the natural environment of Nagano, it is free of branch stains and other imperfections.
