We're participating again this year! Sousei Fair 2023
Last year, we were invited to the Suzaka Sousei High School Sousei Fair.
This year, I was fortunate enough to be asked to help out with a workshop!
This year there are several classes themed around the SDGs, and we are being invited to participate as our game leather activity, the Shinshu Ethical Project, has been gaining attention recently.
This time I (Tokunaga) was unable to attend so Mr Harayama went instead, and I had to go to Big Hat's industry fair as it overlapped with the event. Therefore, in this blog I will mainly write about the fun situation that can be seen from the photos.
This time too, the words "Groover Leather" were written on the blackboard!!!
This impresses me every time!
I still can't forget the excitement I felt last year and I'm still using the images in various places (^○^)
You don't get to experience a high school student writing the name of a company on a blackboard 😭😭

Gruber Leather will help you for two days on Saturday and Sunday, and prepare on Friday.

The two third-year students who managed the cash register, accounting and on-site duties this time were students from a high school with a commerce, industry, and agriculture department, so this classroom is also one store and the two students have proper titles.
It's a shame that the three handsome guys won't be able to show their faces, but on the preparation day before, we taught them how to run the workshop so that they would be able to properly interact with the customers.
So on the day, Mr. Harayama will be there to help out, and the students will be mainly dealing with customers!

There are other workshops available too, and they are super cheap too!
These are just a few of the photos, but last year there were still restrictions in place after the COVID-19 pandemic, but this time there were no restrictions, so it looked like a lot of people were enjoying themselves!!
Moreover, this time we will bring a laser engraving machine, and if customers can provide us with their smartphone data, we can laser engrave it on the spot! This is also very popular!
The two-day Groover Leather Creation Fair was held with the cooperation of everyone.
Although I (Tokunaga) was unable to participate this time, since becoming independent it's rare to get the opportunity to feel like I'm helping someone, and I'm really happy to think that I'm able to give back to the community.
I am truly grateful to all the students and teachers who were involved.
